Anyone with Linux savvy, will recognise there is no such command as "pkill -9." Yet, I have often wished I could kill a process by name, and not have it ignored. So we combined "pkill," with "kill -9" and came up with "pkill-9" (that's pkill DASH 9!) Thanks to Joe Sloan of Toyota for his help and assistance over the last 2 years, as I struggled to cut free from "The Bonds of Windows." I run SuSE Linux, and of late the AMD Dual Processor Version of Ubuntu. (64 Bit) Also a special thanks to Loni who came up with the name "pkill-9", and has also helped me through some rough spots with Linux. This is my opportunity to share with you, some of the problems and solutions I've learned, on the grand adventure known as Linux. I learn something new each and every day, and I hope you will as well.
