Yep, that’s the best thing I’ve found for the annoying sluggishness I was experiencing in thunderbird 3
Indeed! I was about ready to downgrade to 2.X!
This works on Firefox/Iceweasel too… makes a HUGE difference. The only ‘drawback’ is it prevents the program from continuously checking to see if the website you’re playing on is a bad one or not according to google’s list. I don’t see this as much of a drawback myself, I tend to surf the same places often.
Annnnnd, I’m STILL a blonde…. There are two options in Firefox to turn off a setting which has a great impact on Firefox’s responsiveness… which are TOTALLY non-related to this one in Thunderbird.
Edit -> Preferences -> Security ->
“Block reported attack sites”
“Block reported web forgeries”.
Really, I’ll engage brain next time, promise!
